Pastor Dr. T.O. Agbeja

Chancellor · Regional Superintendent & Superintendent, C.A.C. WADCC · Regional Superintendent & Superintendent, CAC WADCC

Pastor Dr. Timothy Omolayo Agbeja leads Christ Apostolic Church North America as Regional Superintendent, carrying the mandate to preach the whole Gospel in a clear and undiluted manner across every CACNA member church. He also serves as Superintendent of C.A.C. WADCC, guiding the regional Coordinating Council that oversees CACNA's DCCs and Zones across the United States and Canada.

Called into ministry in Nigeria in 1976, he served as an evangelist and pastor in Idanre and Lagos before three years in London, England, then returned to Nigeria to lead the Christian Education Department at WOSEM Theological College, Akure. He first visited the United States in 1986 to help plant the church in Providence, Rhode Island, and went on to pioneer or pastor congregations in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. In 1995 he was sent to lead C.A.C. House of Praise in the Washington, D.C. area, growing it from under 100 members meeting on 11th Street into a congregation of over 500 in a new Hyattsville, Maryland facility he led the church to build. After a term as Superintendent of C.A.C. California DCC, he was promoted to Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church North America in October 2015 — the role now known as Regional Superintendent.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Agbeja has spent decades in cross-denominational and community service — as a pioneer member of ministers' councils in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., Chairman of the Mobilization Department of the African Strategic Leadership Prayer Network, and a board trustee of the Christian Association of Nigerian Americans (CANAN). In memory of his late father, he founded the Pastor Abraham Olayiwola Agbeja Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which continues to sponsor students through school. His decades of ministry and service have been recognized with honors including a Congressional Commendation marking forty years in ministry in 2014.

Pastor Agbeja is married to Evangelist Agnes Adebomi Agbeja, and they are blessed with five children.
